POLIMI will be the lead for work package 3 Designing the pilot treatment trains. The objectives of this package are to develop one treatment train for soil remediation and another for groundwater remediation. The general goal is to provide TRL 5 technology [IDP1] trains to ensure sustainable, efficient and cost-effective remediation of PFAS in soil and groundwater.

For the development of the soil treatment train, POLIMI is working together with SLU, UNIMIB and Greensoil Group, whereby SLU is taking the lead. Concerning the groundwater treatment train, POLIMI is working together with Viacqua and Greensoil Group, whereby POLIMI will be taking the lead.
